The coaches have gotten the patch program for this year finalized. Sorry it’s so late. We’re doing some of the same patches and also some different ones. First, we’ve changed our metrics a bit. Last year the girls earned a patch the first time they did something, so many earned their patches quickly. Our main goal this season was to make the patches truly earned. Last year if you did something in one match, you earned a patch. Now that the girls are getting older (and better) we want them to really EARN a patch. So many patches require the girls do something in multiple matches or over a period of time. We told the girls NOT to worry about how many moves/passes/goals over however many matches they needed to do. Just DO them in matches and we’ll tell them when they earn their patch.
